2022 Cherokee Triangle Art Fair Louisville guide: Date, cost

It’s a big year for the Cherokee Triangle Art Fair.

Not only does the annual two-day event return the weekend before the Kentucky Derby, it has been canceled for the past two years due to the pandemic, but in 2022 the Cherokee Triangle Association will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the tradition of the piece.

“This is the flagship event for the Cherokee Triangle neighborhood,” said Wes Cobb, president of the Cherokee Triangle Association. “This year, after a hiatus, it’s more important than ever for us to give something back to the neighborhood and the community that deserves to be celebrated. It’s about the artists, our neighbors and all the members of the community who come together. It is our tradition to hold a celebratory event on Saturday evening after the artists’ booths have closed for the day. It’s a good time all around and it’s about giving back.

Booths of artists and food vendors will be located on the streets surrounding Willow Park in the Cherokee Triangle neighborhood. Live music performances will take place in the Willow Park gazebo.
