DC Pride Month 2022 kicks off with new brand partnerships, free comics, and more!

Official DC Pride Month Press Release

DC’s Pride Celebration 2022 will hit your comic book store, bookstore, library, and beyond in June with more stories, more characters, and more Pride than ever before. Fans can celebrate DC Pride, read comics featuring DC’s LGBTQIA+ characters, and find out about all the DC Pride 2022 activities by visiting the DC PRIDE HUB.

This year, DC is partnering with PFLAG National, the first and largest organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer people, their parents, families and allies, to distribute 10,000 copies of DC Pride 2022, an anthology comic featuring stories from LGBTQIA+ creators and focusing on queer characters from the DC Universe, to libraries across the United States. This partnership will give readers even more opportunities to see their stories and experiences reflected in DC’s incredible Super Heroes and Super Villains.

Starting June 7, fans can pick up DC Pride 2022 at their local comic book store or read it as part of their premium subscription to DC UNIVERSE INFINITE, DC’s digital comics subscription platform. Several new comics featuring DC characters such as Poison Ivy, Jess Chambers aka Kid Quick, Nubia, the new Queen of DC’s Amazons, and Tim Drake, the third Robin, will also be released in June. Young Adult Graphic Novel Galaxy The Prettiest Star, released May 17, introduces an all-new character to DC’s queer character roster and completes the set of all-new DC publishing titles.
