Frontier X Studio announces its political board game, Lock ’em Up!, coming to Kickstarter on October 4

TULSA, Oklahoma., September 27, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Lock them up! is the first board game that lets players put politicians in jail! The Kickstarter campaign will introduce the game to $35 plus shipping added in Pledge Manager after 30-day campaign funding. The first contributors will be able to benefit from significant reductions.

About the game

Lock them up! is a fast-paced, family-friendly, bipartisan tabletop game where you use every dirty trick in your power to put your opponents in jail before they put YOU in jail.

The game originated as an idea during the Mueller investigation. Everyone in the country wanted to put someone in jail, but everyone had a different opinion on who it should be. This is how the home game version of a trial was born.

Unfortunately, the characters in the real world were changing so fast that there was no way for a game to keep up! This is why our characters focus on titles rather than names. Some of the mid-century style characters may look familiar, but generically.

How to play

The game features 162 cards divided into two groups: Characters, the people you’re trying to keep out of jail; and actions that give you the power to make strategic moves.

Players choose the characters they want to control – the White House, the military, law and order, progressives, conservatives, or lobbyists. Players take turns shooting through the deck of action cards, using those cards to indict or rescue characters. When the courtroom game board is full, sentencing begins. In turn, the characters in the case are sent to a jail cell and out of the game. The winner is the last player standing.

Details: 2-6 players, from 8 years old, 30 minutes to play
