Larry Michael Hobby, 49, died on Sunday March 6, 2022 at his home in Morristown. He was a loving father, brother and friend. Larry graduated from Doyle High School, Knoxville; attended Pellissippi State Community College, Knoxville; and studied graphic design at Tennessee College of Applied Technology, Morristown. He had worked at Berkline and Shelby Williams but, when they closed, turned to the graphic arts field, working as a graphics manager at Law Enforcement Publications in Morristown. He was a published author who wrote Images of America, Morristown, and was working on two other books at the time of his death. Larry loved history, genealogy, photography, fishing and woodworking. He was an avid Tennessee Volunteers fan and, unbeknownst to most, an excellent cook.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Aislyn Maria Hobby; brother, Doug Bryan; and his sister, Donna Bryan.

He is survived by his daughter, Ghable Isabella Hobby; his sister, Rhonda; and his uncle, Ellis Winstead.

Larry’s wishes were to be cremated and no formal services are planned at this time.
