Our dear sister in Christ and devoted servant, Lynnell Annette Kitzman went to join the Lord on April 4, 2022. She was born on August 3, 1959 in Midland, Michigan to Kermit and Twyla Kitzman. They moved to Alpena in 1963, where she attended Immanuel Lutheran School, Alpena High, Alpena Community College (Graphic Design), then in 1979 she went to Meredith Manor in West Virginia. She obtained an English riding blacksmith’s certificate. She lived in Colorado for over 30 years after working on horse farms in Michigan (Harbor Springs and Kalamazoo), New York and Colorado (including a Thoroughbred birth farm). She maintained long-term friendships with people across the United States. She was most recently a member of the Peace with Christ Lutheran Church in Aurora, Colorado, and served her parish through a friendship mission. Lynnell is survived by her “Mom” Twyla, Aunt Ann (Lowell) Tolly, Uncle Gilbert Bihn, many dear cousins ​​and family members. With dear friends, Roy and Patty Gagnon of Saginaw, Michigan, Diane Lather Balfour of Denver, Colorado and countless others across the United States. She was predeceased by infant brothers Dennis and Duane, brother Kerwin and father Kermit, as well as her beloved grandparents, godparents Aunt Joan Kitzman and Uncle Del Warner and many other members of the beloved family.

A memorial service will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Alpena, Michigan on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. before the service.
