Register Now for Spring Arts, Crafts and Music Workshops at Lynda Fairly Carpinteria Arts Center | Culture & Leisure

Registration for the Spring Workshop is now open at the Lynda Fairly Carpinteria Arts Center. Course offerings run from February 5 to June 1. The Arts Center at 865 Linden Ave offers programs for all ages, and for locals and visitors. Early registration is encouraged as classes fill up quickly.

A sampling of the workshops include: Outdoor Beach Painting, Watercolor Painting, Mixed Media and Collage, Jewelry Making, Tidal Pool Photography, Block Printmaking, Basket Making, Kodedama Hanging Orchid, Handcraft vintage valentine’s day, indigo and shibori dye, wax encaustic, gelatin plate print, white line woodcut, cigar box illustration, guitar lessons and ukulele lessons.

Tours and excursions are also planned, but limited reservations are still available. Classes for children include acrylic painting, watercolor painting and a Valentine’s Day craft workshop.

“Our goal is to inspire creativity and promote inclusion by connecting with the community through the arts,” said Linda Rosso, Executive Director of the Center for the Arts. “Over the past 20 years, we have worked hard to provide a diverse range of courses and programs that continue to enrich the community.”
