SCOTT DREYER: 1.5 years later, NYT, WaPo and others admit Hunter Biden laptop scandal is real

It was October 24, 2020 and tensions were at their peak. The presidential election appeared neck and neck. The result seemed to hang from several slender wires in several “purple” swing states. Early voting was beginning in several states, and Election Day was only two weeks away. Many voters were still undecided. Then, suddenly, the New York Post dropped a bombshell: Hunter Biden, son of the former vice president and current candidate, had left his laptop in a PC repair shop in Delaware but never returned to claim it. Worried, the store owner looked at it and found it was full of shocking images, emails and links to foreign governments and oligarchs. Most shockingly of all, it belonged to Hunter Biden; all of which earned it the nickname “The Laptop from Hell”.

the New York Post, established in 1801, is both the oldest continuously published newspaper in the United States and the only remaining one started by an American founding father: Alexander Hamilton.

Just as this story began circulating among the public, Twitter almost immediately censored the New York Post story on their platform. Then, not satisfied with tight censorship, they upped the ante by shutting down the Post’s entire Twitter presence, not allowing them to post anything. Facebook quickly followed suit, censoring the story. To use Churchill’s graphic expression, they wanted to “strangle him in the cradle”.

As more and more Americans are painfully realizing, many who run and employ legacy media such as The New York Times, Washington PostABC, CBS, NBC, NPR to satiety are not so much freelance journalists as Democratic Party operatives posing as journalists. Rather than discussing or investigating this shocking story – as worthy journalists should – they largely thought about it as a group, dismissing it as “Russian disinformation.”

The Big Tech/Legacy Media combination of outright censorship and dismissive pooping of the allegations did the trick. Joe Biden has won the election! we are told. Moreover, with his 81 million votes, those same votes assured us that Biden was “the most popular president in history.”

Shortly after the election, a poll asked Biden voters if they had heard of “laptop from hell.” Unsurprisingly, and thanks to a combination of censorship and media blackouts, most did not. Additionally, when told about the content, many said they would not have voted for Biden had they known about the scandal. But too late! Biden and his crew were entrenched in the executive branch, and together with their allies in the judiciary and Congress (including Virginia senators Mark Warner and Tim Kaine) began their dismantling of the foundations that produced so much freedom and prosperity for so many people for so long. .

But fast forward to this month. On March 16, 2022, The New York Times came to the realization that the laptop and its associated scandal are real, and not the result of “Russian disinformation”. A few days later, the Washington Post woke up to admit the same. Yesterday CNN admitted – 532 days after the initial story broke – that the “laptop from hell” is real. According to a March 28 Media Research Center article, it’s been 259 days since the name “Hunter Biden” has not even crossed the lips of any ABC, CBS, NBC reporters or anchors publicly.

Anyway, now that at least the NYT and WaPo have admitted that the Hunter Biden laptop story is real, I wonder if they and other mainstream media will report any breaking news on the divorce from King Henry VIII?
