STB Graphic Designers, based in Leicester, has become an Employee Share Ownership Trust (EOT).

The new EOT structure is launched with a refreshed brand image.

STB Graphic Designers started in 1988 as Taylor Benson Stocks. Glenn Taylor teamed up with colleagues Dean Stocks and John Benson to, in their words, “start an ideas-driven studio that would produce brilliant graphic design without bullshit.”

The company’s customer list includes Avon, Aldi, Next, Black & Decker, Virgin Trains, Majid Al Futtaim, Morrisons, Avanti West Coast, Baker Hughes, British Airways, Canon, Metro Bank, Centrica and Experian.

Taylor – currently the sole owner – transfers 90% of the ownership to his employees. He will continue as CEO supported by the current management team.

Taylor said, “Over the years, I have been proud to work with some of the best graphic designers in the business. Our job is to help our customers make more money by selling more products, be it cornflakes or cars. As simple as that. It’s about solving the brief, beautifully, and putting the needs of our customers first. Becoming an employee shareholding trust will secure STB’s future. We put it in the hands of those who have made it grow over the past 33 years and allow them to share in its success.
