DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) -For all things artistic in the Quad Cities, head to Figge this weekend as a biannual Fine Arts Fair celebrates its 68 years. The fall show will take place at Bechtel Plaza in Figge Art Museum (225 W 2nd Street, Davenport) this Saturday September 11 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday September 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free to Figge and the art fair.
The square will be filled to the brim with first-rate works of art created by 42 artists, including hand-woven textiles, paintings, jewelry, pottery, woodworking, sculpture, stained glass and even more. Vendors of delicious food will be on site. Musical entertainment and several creative stations for children will also be set up.

Paula Sands Live welcomes the artist from the region, Pam Ohnemus, to talk about the art fair. Her medium is acrylic paint and she enjoys depicting the prairies of the Midwest in her paintings to promote the appreciation and preservation of these lands. Ohnemus won ‘Best Painter’ and ‘Best of Show’ awards at the Beaux Arts Fair in 2019 (which is the last time the show was held in the fall). The talented artist has participated in this show for 21 years.
